I own all three layers of the Justin Charles Merino wool underwear. I use it for winter league trap shooting and Telemark back country skiing and everyday wear around the house ( when i can get it away from everyone else in the house). The Expedition weight is extremely versatile as a sweater and a final layer for long days outside. My everyday shirt is the midweight. This is the core of my cold weather clothing. I am never cold or overly hot. It regulates my body temperature. No polyester underwear comes close and I have owned the best. Try it once and you will never go back to synthetics. It is no stink, warm even when wet and it the most comfortable product available. The cut of the underwear is true to size and allows for layering. The Lightweight is more like silk than wool. I didn't know wool could be made to feel like this stuff. I recommend buying the crew for base layer and the zip tees for mid and expedition. Better get more than one set if you want it for yourself or better yet buy it for everyone and avoid getting yours stolen! Joe C

I wore the lightweight merino wool underwear while playing boot hockey the other night and stayed warm and completely dry. The shirt was extremely comfortable even after an hour of activity. Would highly recommend this shirt to anyone who needs to spend long amounts of time outside.

My sister gave me the lightweight merino wool long underwear to try on a 7 day hunt in the wilderness area of Wyoming, just outside Yellowstone Park. I wore it on the 8 1/2 hour horseback ride in, I wore it hunting all day in temperatures ranging from +20 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and I even slept in it inside my sleeping bag. It kept me warm when needed and wicked away the moisture when we were chasing game at elevations between 8,500 and 10,000 feet. Great product. Can't wait to get more. Jim Hegenbarth, Madison, WI

This April I started wearing your base layer wool long underwear during the many bass tournaments that I fish and in the extreme weather conditions I'm subjected to. To my amazement not only did I stay warm running down the river at 70mph in my bass boat when it was 42 degrees, but I was totally comfortable late in the afternoon when it reached 75 degrees. It's true that wool controls body temperature and can keep you cool even when its hot out. Great products worth every penny. It's nice to know that the statements you've made about your products are true, what a breath of fresh air to find a quality product such as yours.Ron from Wisconsin
